Terrible performance by the Eagles. Smashed in every facet of the game. The worst finals performance since that 2nd Semi loss to Central in 2006. Cicolella was probably our only shining light.

As bad as the Eagles were, Norwood were terrific. Very similar to the corresponding game last year against Glenelg. They had winners all over the field and barely needed to raise a sweat after quarter time so should be fresh next week against Central.

Very confident about today, have said all week our defensive zone and press setup would restrict the Eagles to under 10 goals was suprised that we kicked so many though.
Terrific game by Norwood and the pressure was awesome, still a fair bit of work to catch Centrals but hopefully we can give them a shake.

Not a Norwood fan & yes they beat a pathetic embarrassing Eagles outfit but i'm still hopeful South can beat the pathetic Eagles then go on & beat Norwood once they cop a hiding from Centrals.

After the way we played today that could happen No Mercy :(

Anyone could have beat us today, we couldnt tackle hard enough, hit targets and our ball use was terrible, and still DONT HAVE a key forward other than Grocke.

Worse game since round 3 against sturt

I'm not sure how long it has been since a player registered 17 disposals in a term at SANFL level, but I recorded Darren Pfeiffer's final term at that figure. I recall Justin McConnell getting 16 in the first term against Norwood at the Parade in 2006, but 17 is a pretty reasonable benchmark.

Well done to my 2nd team, Norwood, thoroughly deserved the win today. The Eagles seemed very slow & disfunctional today. If they play like that next week, they will lose again.

Must seriously consider the use of suburban ovals , it's not a good look on TV. No doubt made up of Norwood fans . The Glenelg fans looked light on considering their strong suupporter base.

EVERY FACET is dead right.
Probably the worst game Greiger and Lewis have played for the club. Norwood's use of the three big men up forward really threw us, with Greiger starting on the taller Dawe and Patty starting on Shenton, who Norwood managed to use well and get is confidence up early.
We wore down South a couple of weeks ago at night, if they improve their skills by 5% we are in real trouble based on that performance.

I must have missed all the World Cups Ireland have won.

Well that sucks. We couldn;t even be regarded as competitive. I thought I was watching the Sturt game at Adelaide Oval again. Here goes the return of the West Torrens Finals hoodoo and on that effort we are gone and South will destroy us as well.
Goodbye season 2011. S**t house effort that all would be disgusted with!!!! I was hoping that we had got over serving up that sort of crap. Norwood made us look 2nd rate and just a training run like that will serve them well against Centrals. I'm a bit more than disappointed.
Condolences to the Grieger family. Sadly it was Ben's grandmother that was tragically killed when she tripped and fell under the truck in O'Connell st on Thursday.
