Go for it fellas! Unless its coming from a Centrals supporter it means sweet ****, because we're all in the same boat.

Personally happy to leave that fans of other clubs, given how we 'dogs fans think it's all about us, and think the league started in 2000 and all that. ;)

Besides, we haven't won anything this year yet either.

Seriously though, congrats to Ron Fuller and the Panthers for getting this far, though your next opponents have prided themselves on their defence this year, most particularly in the last bulk of the season and aren't likely to let much get past them two weeks running IMHO. Still, if Wundke can bag four or five they may see themselves into October yet. Good luck anyway, listening to Fuller on the television it sounds like the attitude around the place is pretty well right.

To Glenelg, well, I expected you to go down today, but only just. As others have said, too many easy turnovers, too many heads just not on the job. Disappointing end to 2011.

Yes that wasn't good and Ty Allens effort on a South player was also questionable (no way near as severe) and was actually paid holding the ball !

i thought 2 as well...i was disappointed that the glenelg players didn't really 'fly the flag' after the incident, he told neale 'he was next', from the players race a norwood official said ''that's another reason we got rid off him''

Yep that was easily the worst decision of the whole day and should be looked at by the Panel and the Umpires Coach!

South have now won as many finals as Glenelg has in the last 6 seasons. Could well go ahead next weekend too on today's form!

Listening to Rodney Jameson on the radio after the game, and he was dead right regarding the leadership around the Bays. Apart from Mules and Allen, the other more senior players and better known names want to run around and get their 15 easy kicks and think they are trying, rather than really busting their guts to show the way for the young players who at least showed some desire and heart. Kirkby was the one other Bays senior player who showed a bit, but the delivery to him was terrible.

The Bays aren't too far away with some of their youngsters coming through, their juniors still strong. The next coach needs to follow the example of Centrals, Eagles and now South to look at the VFL or below to find the next group of determined, quality people, 20-23 yo's who are prepared to show real leadership. If this means getting rid of some of the current crop, so be it - surely there has to be question marks over retaining the Kane's, Murphy, Sellar, Rudolph seems a shadow of the player he was a few years ago.

(Yes, I know my club has it's own problems :(

Well done to South, at times their skills were slightly lacking, but if it is a warm day next week I reckon their pace is going to worry the Eagles.

Not that Allen should be cited, but it was worse than what Sutherland and Campbell got reported for last week.
Wonder if the head-high on Kane that lead to the first goal will be looked at, looked front-on, but couldn't say for sure from where I was sitting.

Will be interesting to see what happens to the umpire who paid holding the ball, especially if Allen faces the tribunal. On what has been deemed reportable this season, Allen will have to front the tribunal.

Anyway back on topic , I thought South really could have done more damage if they'd kicked straight . They missed some easy ones when they were up by about 5 goals and then Glenelg hit back to get within striking distance but Souths speed looked to win the day.
