Fair catch by Ponting to get the second wicket at short cover.

Samaraweera averaged 80 at this ground to get dropped...

Dilshan knows something we don't?

The more i watch the more i think that Australias' score is under par as i stated earlier.
Rain might just be Australias best friend later in the match.

I think our score was ok, we are only 2 wickets away from Sri Lanka making under 300 or going on and making 400+.
Need one of these guys soon

Bowling just does NOT look threatening.
Thats just the case sometimes when the conditions are batsmen friendly.
Not seeing the same silly shots by the Sri Lankan batsmen as the Australins did.
And really, thats the only way your gonna get out on this pitch.

Get a wicket before the new ball and this game is very much on, Dilshan has shown he doesn't have the temperament for test cricket, the rest of the tail is fairly useless. Last game was the first time Mathews has ever done something. All is not lost.

Watson bowled a great spell to get Mahela out.

Siddle did well to get Kumar out in the first over of the new ball.

One or two more before lunch would be awesome.

Well thats what should be happening on a flat lifeless pitch giving no assisstance to the bowlers.
Australian batsmen should be hanging their heads in shame apart from Huss and Marsh. Terrible shots by most batsmen gifted Sri Lanka their wickets.

the lads technique is not up to test standard, time to blood someone else, marsh needs to go up so watson can go to 6 as his bowling is too important as he cant be expected to do both

The pitch may not be offering a lot of assistance but Lyon is rubbish.
