We aren't a quick side, either.

Hey, everyone can play down themselves here. No one likes to be a favourite (ok, some Dogs fans don't care because it doesn't matter). Poor form or hot form, resting players or keeping a routine, a hard match the week before or a training run. It doesn't matter on the day, because it's all about the mindset of the 21 players only.

So, I cannot see why anyone should be surprised if either of the two matches on Sunday goes either way.

 Well said.

Well, that's it really, the Premiership side is as predictable as the Magarey Medal this year.

I think most fans of the top 3 sides are all fairly confident their team is a big threat. But on a day when everything gets reset and you need to win, you just never know. But having won 4 in a row, being minor premier and answering every challenge throughout the year and if anything putting our strongest side for the year on the park in finals it's hard to not put faith in guys who don't let you down week in week out, year after year. The only major question marks for me are how underdone Havelberg will be (if at all) and motivation. Having had him get through a game and then a fortnight's break I think Havelberg will be ok, motivation wise the guys will know this could well be the last hurrah for C and J Gowans and many blokes will be keen for flag #1 and to get those guys flag #1. But on the day? Only time will tell.

:? What you talkin bout BP?

I want a close bruising game that goes into extra time with lots of injuries and reports

You been spying oops I mean watching eagles finals training D4E ;)

On a serious note I would expect that the Eagles will be training for a tight and tough encounter while Norwood will be training to move the ball quickly out into space to a player who can run and carry.

The game will be decided by whichever team manages to play the game on their terms. Both teams have good defences and slightly suspect attacks. I predict a low scoring game until one team cracks.

I think the error of norwood this year is finding space and leaving the likes of Mackenzie,Jarrad and the pup free. The Eagles then run the ball straight down the middle from defence to attack !!

But do we always go down the middle from defence to attack? We like to go wide from side to side.

Expect the Norwood support to be down for this match...and watch them come out of the woodwork next weekend...

I'm still tipping Norwood by plenty!

Gee havnt heard that before
That coming from a club that fills out AAMI on GF day but gets pissy little crowds at Elizabeth all year.
Its only natural that ANY club has supporters that only appear during finals
