I'd need to start running tomorrow if I was to finish with everyone else on Sunday.

2 teams with poor following and Glenelg fans maybe a bit "spooked" and not wanting to taste another finals failure .

Norwood fans may tip it over the 10,000. Hope I am wrong , get behind your team .

I didnt think centrals were playing :D

Crowd will be inflated by the HUGE number of free tickets handed out this week!!! I'll certainly be walking around with my Centrals guernsey on! :D

The SANFL shoulda held the Centrals Reserves final at AAMI instead of the elimination, might have pumped the crowd number up abit and added some atmosphere!!!

Norwood fans will come out of the woodwork, there are always plenty of Snouts in the SW pocket of Football Park, but neither South or Eagles will get many fans out there because they don't have any. I'd be surprised if the crowd's more than 10,000.

I am not sure sure it will be around the 8,000K people are predicting

We have 3 clubs the same as last years 11,500

Lets say the supporter break up last year was
- Norwood 3,200
- Glenelg 3,000
- Sturt 2,700
- Eagles 1,800
- Neutral / Officials / Staff etc 800
TOTAL --------------------------------- 11,500

Weather should be excellent

Biggest issue with other events is South and Glenelg fans getting accross Anzac Highway for the City to Bay.

Trade maybe a few less Tiger fans against more Redleg fans

So take out Sturt's 2,700 and replace it with South say 1,500 at worst

And you have a crowd of 10,200

Dont blame South if only 8,000 turn up, it means there would need to be drop off from EVERY club, something I can't see happening

Fair enough, was never ever ever ever going to get over 10K,

next week will be interesting with Eagles vs South.

whats the lowest ever crowd for an SANFL finals double header.

As a partially interested bystander, the crowd for the SANFL Finals today was pathetic. Even worse are the rolodex of excuses being trotted out by the hierarchy to not move to Adelaide Oval.

Last week was Whicker saying they didn't know the redevelopment program, so it couldn't be moved. BULLDUST! He's on the SMA.

Now we hear Darren Chandler tonight, saying the changeroom facilities are not acceptable for 2 games. MORE BULLDUST!!

It's not that hard to make it work. IF YOU WANT IT TO?!

Interestingly No U18 curtain raiser today
nor half time Under 12 rep games .... between players and families thats about 300 who had no reason to turn up

speaking to an sanfl official this morning the reason for no earlier u/18s match was cost cutting so instead of opening the gates at 8.30am they opened them at 11.am
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
