Two Aussie game on FTA and both impacted by rain. Great to watch the old games though. How times have changed -
A few observations from the Aussie v Pakistan 92 WC match
- S Waugh had one of the best slower balls
- You would never get away with an opener like Marsh (S/rate well under 50 for 91 balls)
- What a fielder was Deano
- Pakistan always are in the middle of controversy (disputed c behind against Whitney)
- The third umpire is a great idea (Inzamam was at the stumps and given out)
- Inzamam wasnt always a fat bastard
- The WACA is a big ground when you dont put ropes half way to the fence like today

And won't be dismissed either. Looks like his World Cup is over after injuring his calf. Finally the selectors have to do away with their infatuation with him and actually pick the best side now. This will give Hodge his rightful place back.

Commiserations mal
