A Grade - Uraidla by not much. Finals experience and played this ground well last year.
B Grade - I would like to say Ironbank, but Blackwood will have better depth. Woods 4 goals
U/17's - Only going on biased hearsay - Blackwood by plenty!
U/15's - Go supercoach Bennett (and the Devs).

it was 3.
but anyway...

Just got back from my-round the world holiday this morning, just in-time to see my much loved Woods play in 4 grand finals.

My tips -
A-Grade – Blackwood by 2 goals – McCormick BOG
B-Grade – Blackwood by 5 goals – T. Moore BOG
Under 17’s – Blackwood by 6 goals – L. Richter BOG
Under 15’s – Couldn’t care less….But Hahndorf to win.
Under 13’s – Blackwood by 3 points – Williams BOG

A mate of mine at the game claimed that Uraidla very lucky with final mark and behind. Should have been a push in the back paid against the Uraidla player. Thoughts on this?

Could've, should've, would've... No free kick at all. McCormick should've iced the game after taking a hanger 25 metres out almost straight in front with less than 2 minutes on the clock. Great game though and well done to all the winners in the other grades.

You would have had to have been pretty brave to pay a free kick to Blackwood there. Ha ha

Well obviously it's not as good as Div 1 SAAFL! But it's not too far away when you get a game like today!!

Uraidla and Blackwood would have been mid range div 1 this year. Not to sure about the money can't by everything comment earlier re Blackwood as i reckon Uraidla would spend more anyway.
As the silly season begins there is talk of a lot of Mt Barker players leaving a couple to Nairne a couple back to Gum.
Also I think a lot of the older guys at Blackwood would have liked to retire on a premiership will the loss keep them on for another year.

I disagree here, the standard is far from terrible. Yesterdays grand final was the best I've seen in many years, backed up by a huge crowd and fantastic atmosphere. Wouldn't get the same at a amateur GF!
