C. McLean must be on the move as well. What is it with the recruits not hanging around for too long?? Was Fracka worth the money??
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

What recruits are you referring to merk?

Fracka well worth the money, good bloke, good leader!

I wonder if the meek is going to have an influence on fracka's career next year? ;)

Dr Turf i am not a good speller but it is spelt Strangio. I hope he has had a great time, you might wanna hope he hangs around longer then a season. well to say Ingle farm isnt seething would be an understatement. You should ask scott, he gave ingle farm a 100% commitment back in August whilst he was playing in england after a series of discussions with me via emails. I believe he has just arrived home late last week. I was advised today by a IF cricketer that Scott was going to Pooraka much to my surprise. I had tried to call him but his phone is disconnected then decided to check my facebook. To my amazement there was a pm from scott sent late last nite saying he was going to pooraka because they offered him more coin and he wants to play with a mate. Well WTF, thanks Scott for showing some courage and talking face to face or making a phonecall. Shit your 100% commitment was as good as nothing, i would think you would advise the club before signing with another. I have replied to him on FB to ring me but guess what no call. Well to me that shows the kind of guy he is and how much ticker Scott has. When you see him Dr say hi from me and show him my photos in the club and explain to him the meaning of loyalty and what it takes to win premierships.

Dr Turf, I am not going to comment on peoples characters etc.
Unfortunately community cricket as a whole has changed dramatically over the years if you believe some of the stuff you read on here and different competition forums.
The amount of money that gets mentioned just blows me away and reality is if true will continue to create disloyalty.
What I find extraordinary is people that look for coin well beyond their abilities.
Certainly not saying Scotty is in that basket as he can seriously play.
What Pooraka will learn is that cricket is not Scott's highest priority in life so expect some missed games and spasmodic training.
Hopefully this does not cause too much unrest with blokes that are playing for the club and getting stuff all..

Ingle Farm have been burn't one too many times now in trying to "keep up with the Jones's" and probably now need to go back to looking after their loyal own people.
If this sees them drop away a bit, then as disappointing as it will be, I am sure it will make the club a better place to be in the long run...

If getting a few hundred bucks to play cricket is a major priority for people then that is their call..
