Trade Week Talk

Postby CoverKing » Wed Sep 14, 2011 12:46 pm

Just a topic about all trade wee talk and rumours on players going around.

Richmond are rumoured to be the front runner for the big man Maric. Possible exchange for Nason. ;)

Tony Armstrong is weighing up his options and seeing who is interested in the talented junior. Wouldn't mind a nason/Armstrong trade.

J.Griffen apparently wants out, as does Mitch Clark, and power players Brett Ebert and danyle Pearce could have new homes next year.

What trades are clubs looking at?

Now now. You can never have enough midsized blonde midfielder/forward/halfbacks with questionable ability.

In all seriousness, Adelaide better put that freaking pick in their pocket for next years predicted 'super' draft. Will be might pissed if they don't (unless they use it to secure someone VERY decent).

Yeah I think Maric is a certainty at the tigers. I would like us to have a go for Ebert who I think could be really handy in our forward line. Riewoldt, vickery, Morton, nahas, king and ebert. Add in Martin and cotchin resting up forward. Ebert wouldn't have to much currency either so could get him in for very little

Which club is crying out for an able ruckman, who actually has something to give in return?

Geelong will only improve on the expected trade of Mark Blake...

Question is, what do Geelong want?

Like every team, youngish backline players to replace Milburn, Scarlett & Enright, maybe a tagger so we can retire Ling, gun on-ballers and key forwards.

I think Blake will go to GWS. I can see them using Brogan as a "back up" ruckman/ ruck coach and working with whoever they get as their ruckmen.

already got giles from sturt i think dont they? blake and giles would be a good tandem and brogan and the young ruckman they draft as good backup. they might go for billy longer, all austrlian ruckman at U/18 level, standout ruckman of the carnival.
