Reached episode 514 of Prisoner.

The men are now mixing with the women. Geoff and Matt are well received by the women and eventually Myra and Marlene enter relationships with Geoff and Matt respectively. Frank, on the other hand, spends a few episodes trying to rape an inmate before succeeding with Pixie, who becomes catatonic as a result. The women and Joan use the rape to set Len Murphy up, who is charged with the rape with further charges pending over his Woodridge antics.

With the Ann and Meg kidnapping storyline (and subsequent warehouse explosion) happening towards the end of the 1984 season, the 1984 season has the quietest ending in the series, with Myra deciding to hand over the top dog reigns to Reb Keane. When Myra realises Reb is pushing drugs, she regains control and Joan arranges Reb's transfer to Blackmoor.

We now start to see the story lines of some of the regulars begin to write up, starting with Bobbie, who is paroled to live with Stan and his wife Edie. A lot of the regular cast end their time in the show over the next 20-odd episodes.

Boy-George fanatic (and card shark) Lexie Patterson arrives at Wentworth for a lengthy stint on a number of smaller charges. Other inmates to arrive include lawyer/alcoholic Janice Grant and old-lag from Barnhurst Ettie Parslow - another attempt to copy the Lizzie Birdsworth storyline

Indeed it was. The only decent part in the whole movie was the trap in the car workshop involving the singer from Linkin Park. A lame end to what looked like being a great horror series. For mine it all went downhill after Saw III, the last four were crap. They left it open enough to do another one.

Still ends up being the highest grossing horror franchise of all-time though beating out Friday The 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Halloween, Hellraiser etc not bad for a couple of young Aussie blokes. And I still remember Leigh Whannell from his Recovery days.

I'd rank them: 1, 2, 6, 4, 5, 3, 7.

1 was the best, plain and simple.
2 I loved, it gets mixed reviews but the final twist was outstanding!
3 felt like it was all about the gore.
4 was really, really solid, great ending.
5 was a bit average, good, but not great.
6 I thought was excellent, it's too bad most had given up on it by that stage because I felt it made a great comeback
7 was just a letdown, and I agree, let the door open for an 8th. The ending in particular was so unsatisfying, so Dr.Gordon was alive the whole time and assisting him, but why? Gave us nothing.

The Tunnel on ABC iView.

How they made the fillum through crowd-funding is much more interesting than the final product.

Bit of a snoozer...

True Blood season 4 .. Originally thought they had complicated it a bit too much by having too many characters with different abilities, powers etc, but it's starting to get quite interesting now around the halfway mark.

Reached episode 524 of Prisoner

Marlene and Matt are officially an item and are now engaged (only in Wentworth).

Janice, in one of her rare sober moments, discovers that Ettie has never been convicted and has spent the last 43 years in prison without a charge, so she'll be released with compensation (sound familiar).

Lou and Frank attempt to kill Myra by electrifying the door to her cell, but instead Sam Greenway is killed. Lou trys to make it look like suicide but the coroner gets to the bottom of it.

Frank and Dennis develop a rivalry. Dennis puts Frank back in his box on numerous occasions, but a broken plate in solitary enables Frank to gain the upper hand once, holding Dennis hostage in an unsuccessful escape attempt.

Meanwhile prison chef Ray Proctor (after a lovers tiff with his boyfriend and is sprung drinking on the job) leave Wentworth and is replaced by Merv Pringle (who manages to get the job courtesy of a few fake references).

Derelict muso Sheila Brady is currently in on remand, which is the beginning of the end of Judy Bryant's time at Wentworth.
