Big Brother 2012

Postby bazza1 » Sat Sep 10, 2011 1:52 am

CONTROVERSIAL reality series Big Brother is set for a reboot, with a 2012 version believed destined for Channel 9.
While rival Channel 10 was sought to bid on the revised series, titled Big Brother: Secrets, it’s understood Nine inked the deal with Endemol Southern Star today.

The network declined to comment, but what is clear is that the show will be produced on a smaller scale than in the past, having originally cost Ten an estimated $20 million to construct.

Regarded as the first reality TV phenomenon in Australia, it launched in 2001 and ran for eight seasons before being axed for poor ratings.

The new show will be marketed as “Big Brother: Secrets . . . every housemate has a secret”.

Which safooty member would stir up the Big Brother House the most?

Having only been a member for a couple of years, and not knowing everyone I will nominate the following:

Psyber. Aparrently he is mad.
A Mum. To keep everyone in line & behaving.
Boonie. Just because.

Who is the safooty member who constantly gets stuck into his wife? Reckon he would be great on TV.

Where will it be shot? The original site at Dreamworld is now the site of the new Buzzsaw ride.

Didn't watch the first couple of series, watched it religiously around 2003-2006, lost interest for the last couple of seasons. Not sure if my interest would be rekindled in a revived series.

Unless they furnish the house with chainsaws, and then spike the water supply with PCP, I'm not interested.

I can only see this lasting one season on ch9. I'm not a huge fan of the show but it was popular in its early years on c10. I'm guessing 9 won't be able to get the ratings figures 10 did.

Booney would negotiate with the housemates that should he carry them through the exercises and earn them extra $$, the weekly shopping must include beer.

He would then singlehandedly make sure they earnt the luxuries as he single handedly get's them through the challenges.

For this, he would be much loved by his colleagues in the house.

Once the shopping arrives, Booney would devour the beer like a an unfed pig at a trough, and for this Booney would be the next eviction.
