Walker & McKernan very big signings today. Very excited by McKernan in particular, I reckon he's a player with the potential really make his mark on the competition.

On a more general note, great to see a heap of contracts being sorted out over the last couple of weeks. I wonder whether the surprise of the Davis defection was a bit of a wake up call for both club and players.

There's a bit of speculation at the moment that Gunston might want out at Adelaide, and return to Melbourne.

If true, there could be a few clubs interested, maybe the Bulldogs I reckon.

Yeah have heard he has demanded a trade. Is uncontracted so he could end up at GWS unless a trade is done.
The club is reportly holding a meeting with him soon to try and change his mind

No chance of gws. 1 - Davis has gone. 2 - homesick so he wants to go to Melbourne. 3 - he could be pretty handy at a few sides.

Thought there is plenty of chance of going to GWS. If he chooses to take his chance in the draft then GWS has a heap of picks before a Melbourne club, even the Crows have a pick before any Melbourne club. Only way to a Vic club would be for a trade to be done. If i was the Crows id play hardball and call his bluff, let him take his chance in the draft

All he has to say is that Im not moving away from Melbourne to play footy and they(gws and crows) won't pick them.
Why would a club pick him up when his heart would clearly lie in Melbourne?

Probably the same teams interested in Butcher really. ie the Bulldogs, Carlton, Essendon. It will be interesting to see what he will be worth for a trade. Still very young but he can play, there is not doubt about it.

If he wants to go then a trade will be worked out, there will be a few clubs interested in a trade. I reckon Carlton would be the front runner at the moment and perhaps this will be a chance for the crows to get a young midfielder type.

Reports are coming out that Jack Gunston is all but gone now. Talks have not only grounded down to nothing, but have breakdwon totally now. This is very interesting as he was apparently not at the Crows Club champion awards.

He was not at the crows BnF and could have also been stripped off his award. Pretty bad act from the crows IMO

Shane Edwards is back in Adelaide and is training pretty hard, potentially could be on the Crows radar.
