I was told today Flinders Pk B grade which had to wear a " clash strip " V SMOSH in the 2nd semi final has informed the League stating it will not be wearing the " clash strip " for the Grand Final, they'll just wear white shorts. Is this a joke or what? the Amateur League is going to let Flinders Pk do as they like, surely not?
Why is this rule in place & obeyed by in the 2nd semi final but not for the Grand Final those in charge at Amateur house?

Its only fair you do, as we know the $price$ slugged for admission for the supporters going is a joke so they don't want to be seeing a game full of turnovers due to the clash of guernseys.

The blue one is just as bad as a clash with us. It was terrible when we played Flinders at home in R9. As you said NM, why is it ok now for the GF but it wasn't ok for the semi final??? Go SAAFL!!!!

From what i've seen, Portland are a 10 goals better side than FP. They should win it with ease.

Massive advantage to Portland if it rains like predicted, just a bit harder and cleaner in the contested stuff in my opinion

Congratulations to Flinders Pk A's-B's-C's-D's, an outstanding effort for a club to win all 4 senior grades.
To be honest i didn't know the A's score til thismorning when i read the paper, couldn't believe what i was reading, Portland copped its biggest hiding of the year & it happened to be the most important game of the year.
It was a good year by Portland, the club achieved some success by being promoted to Div2 for 2012.
