Also from the selected side i would expect one of Goodrem, Jenner or Pumpa to be the out.

Yes. He's had an excellent year and proven himself in the past. In fact he's usually returned from injury and been among our best right away. But the rules may allow him to play reserves next week if they make it so he might get a game under his belt anyway.

If anyone's any sort or chance to aggrovate an injury I'd say they'll be rested but otherwise anyone fit would be playing. The usual "if it was a final but..." kind of story.

If the Dogs reserves get through to the finals by defeating the Roosters this weekend, Chris would be able to get some match fitness back in the 2's Elimination Final.

Josh sure is showing faith in Nick Amanto. 16 years old skinny kid, 2nd league game against the toughest outfit in the SANFL, and it is the start of our finals campaign. Geez !!!!!! At the Ponderosa !!! Does it get any tougher?

Looks like Sugar,s career at North is coming to a close. Playing full forward in the ressies, which by the way will be a ripper game. North side looks very good on paper. Get down there early and celebrate ressie win you Chook fans.GO TOU REDS!!!!

Would be very silly. But if you get there, you're a chance. Norwood in 84 were in better shape coming into the finals than North are this year so it would probably rank as the most improbable flag in the history of the comp.

i thought if you played for the crows last week you had to sit out this round of SANFL? if so why is Wingnut in the Centrals team

The rule states that if you participate in the last 2 AFL games, you are not able to play SANFL in the last minor round. Callinan only played 1 for the Crows last week and was with the Dogs the week before at Alberton so he can play SANFL. Matty Wright, for example, is qualified and can play finals for North should they get through but as he has played for the last 'upteen' weeks for Adelaide, he has to sit out this week.

Wright has not been given the ok from the Crows to play if we make it from what I saw on the those released? Armstrong was released from the Crows but he is not likely to play in any case as he did his groin last week. Still it doesn't or shouldn't matter, can't rely on AFL players (happy though Stewart is in the team!) plus unfair to those players who may be dropped that played a big part in getting you to the finals. Those players would find it hard to stand aside for the likes of a Matty Wright who even though a North born and bred player only palyed the bare minimum re SANFL games this year in any case.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Would be nice for the scoreboard attendent to put scores up from the other games today.

Unfortunatly this year Central have been one of the ground where the old E vs F scores etc havent been used this year.

Also rumour i heard last night at the local pub (gotta love these rumours). That if North do manage to make the finals Daniel Stewart will be unavailable due to going on Port Powers end of year trip to Bali(?) next week.

Might be some truth in that, I heard that Tom Jonas is in same boat for Norwood. Port head off to Bali next week i believe
