Pissed myself laughing when I heard this last night. Surely they could've created a song nobody would've heard before?

Palmer Street.

Lived there when I first moved to Sydney.

In an old brothel, actually. Still had red carpet. And red skirting boards.

And a bullet hole in my bedroom window.

Still pretty wild there until the 80s.

Razor was every bit as corny as expected.

Screentime strikes again.

Some of the accents and average acting was a bit distracting, but wasn't too bad overall.
However, the voice-over sounded out of place and slightly unnecessary.

Norman Bruhn and his gang was more interesting than the bickering between Kate Leigh and Tilly Devine, although their paths obviously cross.

Looking up Nellie Cameron (the young prostitute) on wiki, I expect she'll be a fairly prominent character during the series ;)

I missed it (although it doesn't sound like it was too flash) but the double episode is being repeated on Gem on Friday night at 9:30pm for anyone interested.

Only tune in now to see what corny-a$$ cover they do each week.

Seriously hope they bring out the soundtrack in time for Christmas.

Then the boys light Up, light, light up...

According to Wikipedia (yes, I know), the world's oldest known one was found in a cave (stop laughing down the back) near Germany, and estimated to be 30,000 years old, made of siltstone.

So many lines, yet it's a family site... :)

(I would post the link here, but probably not really suitable. Apparently, though, the first ones were made of stone and wood - well, that explains the band now; Happy Birthday Helen, indeed - and tar)
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...
