Hill style viewing area @ Footy Park

I have been thinking about how to keep attendences up at Footy Park (apart from winning games of course).
I think the SANFL should rip up a whole section of seats under the southern scoreboard and have a standing room area.

I understand that its not always a good look having large amounts of people drinking, but as long as the supporter groups are segregated and the area is monitored by security and police then I think it could be successful in retaining some crowds.

For someone to suggest it is not responisble then they would be hypocritical as AO has a hill in the current plans which has been supported by the SANFL.

Thoughts anyone?

Not rip up a whole section, just take out the two back rows of each bay and let people stand at the back again.

Terrible idea. Save the bay covers! If they are not needed will they be sold on eBay?
