Is it just me or does Grant Hacket find excuses for every time he puts in a piss weak performance...
Give me Ian Thorpe anyday, Hacket is a w@nker.

I had a bad 800m so I'll pull out of the 1500m. What a dh. Just shut up and swim.

Hacket is captain of the team FFS...He is not setting a very good example and teaching the rest of our young swimmers to be sore losers and throw in the towel when the going gets tough. He has carried on like this throughout his carreer and always had some lame excuse when he got beaten by Thorpe like the flu or whatever.

He should retire and not bother going to Beijing, he won't win anything anyway.

Say what you like but the guy has been one of this countries most successful ever swimmers. Sure he isn't performing at his best but there isn't a better option around right now so get off his back.
