I just added a MySpace site for my old band - 10 years too late but never mind.

Geez I wish we had the technology back in the day!

I tell you what's nice though, adding famous people as 'friends' and they respond to you - The Church for example - very cool!

They have no idea its happening. And changing your password does very little. Its only a matter of a couple of days before they have hacked your account again because they just phish your account again, and you dont know its happening.

Famous shoegazers???Mmmm You've covered the two biggies there although The Smiths and Stone Roses etc. were also tarred with that brush - probably more so their fans though.

I've always been into the Icemeister.

Not only did I win letter of the month in Ralph this month for my dedication to The Late Show, but subsequent communications resulted in Vanilla Ice references sprinkled through an article in the esteemed men's mag!

Lush, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, elements of Swervedriver, Catherine Wheel, House of Love...
Locally one of my all time faves, the Mandelbrot Set

If you're talking Black Spring & Spooky, yeah, definitely. By the time they wound up though they had become very poppy.

Don't even mention Colourwheel in the same sentence as the Mandies - blecchh!

I went to a gig by The Mandelbrot Set at the Tivoli once and everyone was sitting down - that was weird. :lol:
