Phil Harper just mentioned on 5AA that the Crows are keen for Ian Callinan to play really well in this last AFL game against West Coast this week and then have a good finals series for Central with a look to keeping him at the footy club next year.

Good news for the Doggies.

As is McKernan for South if they make it.

McKernan does make South look a lot better, but Patrekno is in much better form, coming into a much better side. Still, it's only 1 player and I still maintain more AFL players have come back and been disappointing than have been damaging.

Geez, shows what a joke Craig is, letting this gun play 5 SANFL games.

Huge for Eagles.

if he isn't qualified for sanfl finals & it's ports last game why would port or glenelg want him to play ? seeing he wont be playing in the elimination final....something stinks about this & the smell starts at alberton

So how many games has Cornnes played for Glenelg this year anyway ? I wouldn't be hanging mmy hat on him , lots of posessions but hardly damaging.

Prior to tomorrow he's previously played 2 league games for Glenelg and 1 Reserves for WWT (when Bays had a bye)

Not sure of any games where he was named in Port squad but didn't actully play, that could be counted as qualification games though

So the week after makes 5 .

Pretty straight forward , if he chooses to play next week and Port release him he's in.

We've got the Bye, so if he doesnt play for AFL Port, he will need to play Ressies for another club

Yeah but will that count?
The qualifying rules explanations are not easy to come by.

Other than if a player is the travelling emergency (which we know counts) does anyone know the other circumstances when they get recognised for a game when they don't actually play one

'rumour' has it that that norwood game does not count & further more an appeal was lodged & has been rejected, so if this 'rumour' is true there is no point kane playing this week it can only unsettle glenelg in our finals preperation & as i say i smell an odur or possibly a rat from alberton

How does it have anything to do with Port ?

The qualification rule is not set by Port Power .
