Fancy Lyon getting 'told off' for placing a foot on the pitch for all of 0.0002 seconds. JOKE.

Bigger fish to fry umpires, surely?

Huge lead in the context of the game. Another innings over 200 by a supposedly brittle Australian lineup with their best bat of the last couple of years failing twice, on a raging turner against a good spin attack when we can't (apparently) play spin. Obviously it's not an easy track for batting, but there are certainly runs out there. Get rid of Sangakkara, Jayawardene and Dilshan and the rest of the Lankans are suddenly very, very brittle. I'd say they're no chance of 375 apart from the fact that Sangakkara is a magnificent batsman, even on wickets like this. Still remember that innings down in Tassie a couple of years ago where we were lucky he didn't bat them to victory in very, very similar circumstances.

0.1

Harris to Paranavitana, OUT, appeal for lbw first ball, given! My first reaction was this might have pitched outside leg. Paranavitana seemed happy with the call, and walked off. Harris has got really close to the stumps to negate that angle, pitches this within the stumps, and the ball stays a touch low to catch Para on the crease and in front of off. So everything right with the decision, and Australia are on their way

God damn that rule sucks, that was clearly hitting the stumps but only 45% or so of the ball was pitching in line!

Rubbish call. You pause it when the ball bounced, if that's not at least 50%.....
