Norm, can we expect B.Fuller to mirror his record breaking 2009/10 season?

As the great Stewie has pointed out the English experiment will be back in December.

Duke, please refer to B. Fuller as Captain Bill Fuller.

Bill has been out on the track already. He tells me he has lost 3 kilos but I struggle to see it. it might help him this year not having to bowl. Concentrate on his batting and captaincy.
Back to the creek it is.

People do strange things abroad and this seems to highlight that completely.
Will there be room for him in Ango's batting line up? with a couple of new additions it seems solid already.
Whispers that the Duke has been planning a return to the Ango bowling line up seem unfounded,
and therefore plans to re-strengthen the pitch about a metre short of a good length have been put on hold.....for now.

The Duke won't make a return. Steel is extremely expensive these days so he can not afford to purchase the steel cap shoes that he needs to wear when he is bowling.

The Duke stopped into Toy World to buy a Terry Alderman swing ball today.
Duke has lost a yard or two and may have to reinvent himself.
Think he still has what it takes to rattle the castles of some top liners like Captain Fullers.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Mate I wouldn't worry about fuller. He is well past his best. Bigger fish to fry. Maybe fraca from Gawler centrals could be a target for u.

Lets be honest its probably not that hard to bounce Fracka...

Would the association feel alright about clubs only laying out the bowlers end matting when The Duke plays? from memory i dont think he would need the other end...

I see the association is looking to put together a team and training for the country cup, any thoughts on who should be in the BLCA first 11.

Are we going for the best team possible or for youth!!

1. Riley Barker (South)
2. Tristan Schwarzkopff (Tan)
3. Brett Lydemore (Nuri) - Captain
4. Ben Burgess (Ang)
5. Boh Wall (Tan) - After seeing Extractors team then not sure he will be around. If that is the case Joffa Reimann in and Burgess to keep
6. Christian Gattermayr (Tan)
7. Aaron King (GC)
8. Corey Roberts (SC)
9. Jimmy Vanderleur (GV)
10. Daniel Doecke (Nuri)
11. Matthew Blenkiron (Ang)

5 front line batsmen, 2 keepers, 4 all rounders + 2 bowlers that also can handle the bat

Quite a few other names that I came up with but we can only fit 11 players in. went on last years results mainly.

yeah I didnt always go with last years results obviously. I just couldnt leave Matt George out after he got 200 against us a couple of years ago!

Riley Barker played in the reserves last year so i discounted him but obivously the kid can bat...

Blenkiron is an interesting one. Not a bad bowler but i would rather face him than AP for sure...

Sorry but not enough runs last year 9 other blokes made more

On riley Barker looks like he really enjoyed truro nearly 300 in three digs against them.
Thanks mate.

after speaking with someone in the know at tanunda today, they are headed for a winless season and A1 ressies next year.

Boh Wall apparently in love chucked in his job and is moving back to Burra and will play for Burra.
Gattermayr- travelling
Schwarzkopff- not playing
Boschen x2 not playing
Geidel- Lyndoch

Lids will definitely not be suiting up until xmas, tore his bicep muscle from carrying the batting last year
