Heard from a very reliable source that during the year creek offered to buy out Tom Carrolls contract from pongy and offered him $1,000 a game.

Myponga/Sellicks invites were Shaun Hutchy and Tom Carroll.

Carroll played 16 games, 17 goals, 9 BOG's, 2 2nds, 1 3rd and 1 4th. (according to club),
Hutchinson played 16 games, 9 goals, 1 BOG, 1 3rd and 3 5th's. (according to club)

Carroll polled 15 votes and Hutchinson polled 18 votes   Makes you wonder what the umpires are watching

I have heard that Tom is going to play at Morphett Vale next year, can't see him getting that sort of money there.

Congratulations to simon munn worthy winner has been a great pick up for strath fit honest player, has been in the best pretty much every game. Lets hope he continues his form through the finals, something he isn't used having played in finals 2 of his 13 years at westies. Looked like it was a close finish i'm guessing that he was only up by one vote until the last round then got 3 votes last game of year?
Also congrats to rob mccard from willunga big bodied skilful player who isn't scared to throw his weight around in the middle.

Not much talk of this weeks games who does everyone think will win? Gonna be a hot day at pongy saturday perfect start to the finals series.

On current form, one would think that the Creeks would be too good for Strath on Sat, whilst on Sunday, Yankalillas' form has been more consistent than the Roos and that should see them start favorite.

All correct! Why would you leave when your getting $1500 a game?  What a load of ....

All rumors/crap aside, all bar Dave Jefferies (been very good) who's moving to Pt Lincoln have signed on for 2012 at Myponga.
Also after this weekend, there will be no doubt that Pongy Oval is one of the best playing surfaces in the Gsfl - like a bowling green!
