Can't knock his endeavour, but good to see the back of the Greek Daniel Day Lewis.

This is great for the A-League, he should tear it up!

Believe he is playing for Rovers this week then heading over here.
Signed for 3 years and at a fraction of the wage and demands that Kewell has.
Great pickup for the A-League and should do well.
First player to sign directly from EPL to A-League in history

Joey Barton to QPR on 4 year deal.
Strange to sign a 4 year deal for a side who will probably be back in the championship next season, wonder if he will honour his contract or if he has a get-out clause if they are relegated

Emmanuel Adebayor to Tottenham on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

Guess that means the Yids will have to shelve that song that they enjoy singing to him

Will have a get-out for sure, and the only way he would honour it would be if no other Prem League club was prepared to have him.

I'd have thought it was a pretty shrewd move by Barton's agent to get 4 years.

Floodgates can now open.

Expect Palacios to Stoke to follow immediately.

This will likely trigger 5-10 deals involving a stack of clubs who were waiting for the first domino. Gotta love transfer deadline day!
