Call it what you want, he's been sacked plain and simple you aint fooling anyone. If i'm wrong I'll bet you a carton dirty dog that Andy Stewart will not be Coach of Central United in 2012?

actually you are incorrect if we want to be politically correct
he has been asked to reapply if he wants, their for i think that means that his contract was not renewed...and for that matter wont be,but not sacked

72 hours until the beginning of the end in 2011 for either BOS or Glenunga.

Will seem like old times for the lads that line up on both sides on Saturday. 3 times in 4 weeks, who would have thought.

Would expect another high scoring game in warm conditions.

BOS by 8 points.

They do have the option old farmer but don't think they'll use it, pretty sure they'll go up if they make the GF so I doubt Ingle Farm will be saved this time around.

dont be too sure on that 1, I thought SAAFL want div 1 - 6 to be all A grade sides & not c's??

Also wish him good luck, played with him many years ago at Salisbury. Wasnt the most TEAM orientated team mate but a good player / bloke. Trying to get an A grade coaching gig for years and seems to be doing very well.

I see Ingle Farm are spending ANOTHER $150K on their clubrooms.

Where is all this money coming from?

Yes, Ingle Farm are having some major renovations done to their club rooms. Includes upgade of kitchen facilities plus some additional car parking space. The project is being funded by the Federal Govt as part of the stimulus package and I suspect it may cost a little more than $150K. I assume the funding of this project has been done in much the same way the funding was done for the recent upgrades to the Hope Valley Sporting Club.

I think it is great that many sporting Clubs have been able to upgrade their facilities in this way.

The reason I asked was because the clubrooms only had major renovations 3 years ago maybe?
I remember not being allowed to go outside because of the glass balustrades

The balcony was erected 6 years ago and was funded by the Sporting Club

SMG can I ask why they've gone and head hunted a B grade coach from somewhere rather than advertise properly and see who may apply? If they were going to head hunt anybody there's a bloke called Glen Mount who Ingle Farm may have heard of and would turn that club around!

i would take the approach of allowing the a grade coach to select the team he wants around him - b grade coach, assistant, runner, team manager etc, with some scrutiny applied by the club committee to ensure that these otheres are a reasonable fit for the club if they are new.
sometimes new blood can bring a real change to the environment and culture if selected using sound selection criteria.

Knowlesy back to Ingle Farm is a great choice. Played all his junior footy there didn't he? I played with him in Broken Hill, if he coaches like he played, he will help to turn your club around !!!

tipping blackfriars to win this week by 25 points. very even team that works for each other right across the park. great out of the centre and as everyone knows have an excellent full forward at their disposal. Glenunga in my opinion have a bit of a team of champions vibe about them, they have many matchwinners and on their day can beat anyone but i just think they lack a little in the teamwork/grunt work required to knock off such an even quality team in BOS. happy to be wrong though
