In a major setback to the Indians, Gautam Gambhir has been detected to be suffering from concussion and will return to India. "He went to an eye specialist today and it seems he continues to suffer from concussion," Shivlal Yadav, the Indian team manager informed.

Ravindra Jadeja, the left-arm allrounder, has been called up to India's ODI squad in England as a replacement for the concussed Gautam Gambhir. Suresh Raina has been named vice-captain of the squad.

Manoj Tiwary, the Bengal batsman, has been named as the replacement for Rohit Sharma in India's ODI squad in England. Rohit fractured his right index finger during the first ODI in Durham and has been ruled out of the remainder of the series.

Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the remainder of India's tour of England, and is likely to miss Mumbai Indians' Champions League campaign as well, after a visit to a specialist in London confirmed that he will require four to six weeks' of rest to recover from an inflamed big toe on his right foot. S Badrinath, the Tamil Nadu batsman, has been named as Tendulkar's replacement.

After sucking hardcore for a period during the middle period India have gone bananas. 118 of the last 10.3 overs. England can not find anyone to bowl at the death.

Broad goes off during the last over due to an injury.

Dhoni and Raina played great innings after being very slow at the start of their innings.
