Two things to come out of last night, the Eagles are guaranteed 3rd and a Port loss today guarantees finals action for Glenelg.
Are West a sneaky chance to grab a spot in the ressies finals?

Don't think so. North and Central play each other in the last game so one will win, coupled with our poor percentage. We'd scare a few sides though. Left our run too late. Losses to the eagles (when we were 10 goals up at half time) and Sturt (when we led alot of the day) will hurt us.
Go you Redbacks!

If North win today (can you really see Central losing this round (or the last round)?); there will be three sides half a game behind South. All with the last two matches to play. I don't think there has been a time in the 9 team competition where 8th has a chance for finals action with two rounds left.

I don't think it's ever happened before where the 4th placed team really should be last ... ;)

50 years on, we're still johnny come latelys? I guess you don't want to count Norwood's first 50 years either then on that logic. Oops, there go most of those premierships.....

Surely Centurion you are not bragging at selling less than 50 units a year to Europe from your major sponsor as a huge success ?
