You absolute bloody beautyyyyy! Back in divvy 5 and the way the lads played after half time was sensational. We have a chance to break our 22 year drought and more importantly gain promotion. Cheers to BOS I reckon you were stiff @ times.

Kenilworths first 3 goals where form soft free kicks. One of the worst umpiring displays ive seen left everyone straching their heads with each call. They should forget their whistle if they get another gig. Height killed Bos today. Noty alot of movement and they sounded very quiet.

LK - your mob deserved the win yesterday. it was like dejavu from about 8 weeks ago. k'worth kicked to the northern end, bos had a heap of chances but could not make use of them and were on the back foot from early in the game.

as mighty pointed out height was a problem and k'worth talked alot more during the game. that can make a significant difference to the confidence of players.

umpiring, well it is what it is. confusing decisions both ways yesterday. defenders holding forwards, tripping accidental or otherwise, play on advantage, no players within 5 meters of a player taking a kick from a mark or free, umpire in the centre square overruling a decision made by the other umpire in the goal square .... i should have taken a note pad.
did it make a difference, who knows. can it make a difference, yes. this game was over umpired without any shadow of a doubt.

congratulations LK..a great result for the club..lets hope you get that flag for art in the A's..and scotty in the B's with a chance at back to back flags is a tremendous reward for persistence by him over the years..

strong GFC performance gives them at a chance at promotion now to..well done to bourke and co..will BOS v GFC be at the aquatic centre sprint?

Sprinty I think you'll find that down the ground decision was for continued abuse @ the umpire for a previous decision. Some of the words I heard him being called if I was umpiring I would be holding up a yellow card.
Game next week will be a belter and I'm licking my lips.all the best to both clubs

so if he used his yellow card would he also have reversed the decision from which a goal was kicked or does he just send the player off and the game goes on?

there were too many questionable calls from him and i got the feeling he was not going to give bos any benefit of the doubt after quarter time as he had a few of his decisions questioned and of course at half time noone was too impressed with the performance so it was only going to get worse. the trip that was overlooked in the 3rd quarter and the follow up free kick in the opposite direction that i think a goal was kicked from said it all.

i was watching from the n/w pocket and suggested in the 2nd qaurter that he just watch k'worth players moving over the mark, as supporters are entitled to do, no language just a suggestion. i got a good glare, a few seconds at least, and then after the goal was kicked he looked back again. i was concerned then about what was going on. can't say i recall him umpiring one of our games before.

the other bloke has done our games before and i thought he did a pretty good job yesterday.

takes less time to get to Houghton than it does Brahma Lodge from where you guys live... it's only 5 mins away from Hope Valley.
