Highs and ******* lows!!

Postby JK » Sun Aug 28, 2011 2:23 am

Puopolo and Lower :D

Cox, Kennedy, Rioli, Mzungu :(

Cox cost me the double chance a few weeks back, and now backdoors me again at the 2nd most important moment (to make matters worse, the opposition had Cox' direct opponent Luenberger who bathed him)!!

Righto, get it off your chest lads.

I put Puopolo in the opposite category. I swapped him on and off the field about 4 times of Friday trying to work out whether he would be the sub or not. Yea......Na.......Yea......Na.

DOH! :( :(

Reckon it will cost me a GF berth.

2 weeks ago CoverKing benches NRoo over JRoo and it was one factor in me losing. Last week Gingernuts doesn't have NRoo at all and again NRoo gets about 80 and hurts me. This week NRoo comes out with a huge score :(

That said, had I made it this far Hurn 57 and Harvey 40 would have conspired to make me lose again this week.

I am never picking Shannon Hurn again!

Ditto, seemed like a reasonable replacement for Shaw at the time I picked him, but he just coasts through matches.
NRoo has now been at the centre of my two worst ever decisions: making him captain in the match he did his hamstring and now benching him this week.
Barring a minor miracle, my interest in next week will be pretty minor.

Lows - not making the finals of the 2 cash leagues with the same team as my Hogg.

High - Making the GF of the Hogg Div 1 from 8th spot after just scraping in!

Low - everything in DT, my lamentable effort in the Pineapple, my lack of luck in III with the same team I made the Grand Final of Premier with.
High - Making the Hogg Premier Grand Final for fourth straight year. Bout time I won the bloody thing though.

Highs - making the GF in 3 of my 4 leagues.

Lows - I will get in early and say losing them all.

High: Somehow knocking off the top scorer in Pineapple League and qualifying for the GF in the Pineapple League, netting myself a guaranteed $300 (did I hear someone say FREE BEER?!) and hoping to make $500 (coming for ya Ingall!).

Low: In my lowest ranked league (another cash league too), I was knocked in the first week of finals by a solitary point. Looking at everyone's scores since and realising I would have shat it in to the GF.

Just shows to me that Judd is a must have.
Defines "Premium"player.
Averages 112 now after a round 1 shocker for him.
Hate Carlton: Love Judd. And his missus ;)

Oh, and Kreuzer has been handy as a back up Ruckman as well

High: Marc Murphy, what a gun

Low: At the moment, Mitch Golby...not sure what I expected from him...thought he was a running backman, nope wrong, just a shite backman.

Jobe, Ryder and Sandilands the stand outs for me so far this round.
Whats a decent score? Have just ticked over 1100 with 10 players yet to play including my skipper
