PRELIMINARY FINALS RESULTS

Darksiders SCE 2354 d. The Ginger Ninjas 2290
REBCats 2353 d. Dusty Tunnels 2300

The Dark Side predictably won through to defeat Gingernuts who for some strange reason left Puopolo on the bench ha ha. I wish he hadn't though because Darksiders with their three Carlton guns are going to be a real handful next week. Darksiders SCE have been the best side all season and deserve their spot in the final next week and naturally he gets an invite to Champions league but maybe he is in too many leagues to accept that one. Only time will tell. After copping plenty of stick because CoverKing has outranked me for two years I must say that this week's result has backed up (my excuse) what I've been saying all this time. This is a head to head competition and overall rankings don't mean squat at this time of year. Luckily for me Dusty's West Coast boys really spudded it up but the Tunnels have had a pretty good first crack at the Hogg Premier title.

Next week's Grand Final is a replay of the 2009 decider so hopefully I don't roll out the donuts like I do every other year during Grand Final week.

Well done REB. Bad luck to CoverKing and Gingernuts. CK, you did well to go from div 1 to top 4 of the premier league in one year.

I got 2298 so I wouldn't have been able to beat Darksiders or REB even if I had made it.

Shattered. But for 1 silly decision I could've been playing in 2 grand finals this week.

Still, had a brilliant year. Really looking forward to next year now that I've worked out how to play this game, particularly as next season won't have the bye factor.

Darksiders is home. Bad luck REB :( . Mumford C was a ballsy call. You've got to roll the dice in these situations.

A mighty effort to make the Grand final all the same.

Thanks man. Didn't work out for me but I can't complain, no donuts this year and a pretty good finish to the season for my REBCats. He knows how to play this game does Rubuen.
