Point taken.
Bring on Round 22!

hang on, how many games has doyle played this year?

Mate, if we had a fit Doyle last year, we would have won the Grand Final. He's a vital cog to our line up. Doesn't matter how many games he's played, all that matters is he's playing now.

If "ifs and buts" were premierships and cups, Norwood still wouldn't have won last year.

That can be countered by saying that if Central had a fit O'Sullivan last year, they would have won the Grand Final by a lot more. O'Sullivan is a proven player in big finals and was in scintillating form in the 2009 Grand Final, gaining 10 possessions in the first 20 minutes, before breaking his leg. O'Sullivan is as important a player to Central as Doyle is to Norwood.

It's true that Doyle when fit, structurally is a big in for Norwood and we could have used his help to quell Bucket's dominance (perhaps).

However, given his history of injury, if we're pinning our hopes on him in any season, then we're dancing with the devil.

If's and but's are a waste of time .. Never see the point in dealing with anything other than the facts, and the facts are we lost.

All I can say is 'I hope so!'. But Central is, well, Central and we've been owned by the Eagles this year. :(

Nothing wrong with confidence, although it'd be hard to have it after today.

Stuart Bown
Wil Dalwood
Matt Davis
Brady Dawe
Stephen Doyle
Alexis Georgiou
Luke Jericho
Tom Langford
Kieran Mcguiness
Sam Rowe
Cam Shenton
Will Young
Taylor Walker

Too top heavy
Too many GIANTS at the 1 club
Too many GIANTS in the one team of late

IF its too late this season, perhaps the following sMALls can be recruited for 2012

Stefan Arngrim
Gary Conway
Kevin Hagen
Kurt Kasznar
Don Marshall
Don Matheson

Maybe with some of these blokes NW can beat CD away from Norwood Oval and Land on their feat

Gotta be in it to win it.
Whilst we are still in it we are a chance, Centrals are raging favourites but fingers crossed we can earn another crack at them.
Got a sneaky feeling though one of the teams that will just sneak in to finals will have a fair say in it, ala Eagles last season.
Contrary to most peoples thoughts i think we are in for a cracker finals series.

I suspect you're right.

Wouldn't surprise me that the loser of the qualifying goes out in straight sets ... I wish I thought it will be the Bays that could do it.

if norwood couldn't beat central yesterday even though it was at elizabeth, with the team central fielded how can they mentally come up again against central if a few first pick players come in for them ?

as for norwood how far is jericho away ? shenton can not be the only goalkicking forward they have for them to win crucial matches, i now think the grand final will be between central & wwt & i do give wwt a chance of beating central
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

What were Norwood's odds at the beginning of the 84 finals ;)

You never know, Panthers, you might be in with a chance (if you have the same run of luck as the 'Legs in 84) :D

Certainly be happy with a Nwd v Panthers GF (or nwd v eag, or nwd v glg ;) )

I placed a bet on South Adelaide at the start of the season.

A little $10.00 flutter....I dont usually bet.

They were paying about $90.00 at the time.

You never know.....
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!
