It's a pretty call to make considering the lack of knowledge surrounding player movements - ie if we were an A grade club being promoted would attract more players, however that wouldn't necessarily happen in our case. If we were to have the option (don't want to jinx it) I'd say we probably wouldn't go up. Not because of Caz solely but it's so hard to know how the club will go quality wise in the lower grades from season to season - I think we'd still have the numbers but maybe some of the C grade lads would prefer to have a crack at another club. But yeah that's not based on any knowledge... so who knows!

I have a feeling that the influential people at your club would like to see your 3rd and 4th teams competing in Div 6. Can only improve on the player transition into Div 1R.

SHOC had the option this year didn't they? Given the demise of Paralowie & Smithfield last year but said no therefore Glenunga took it up.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, Dennis.

So if SHOC do happen to make the GF and the club decides it is in their best interest to stay in Div 7 would Ingle Farm be saved again from the drop? or would the 3rd side in Div 7 get the option to go up first? I always forget who gets first option.

Div 6 sides get first option.

my mail is IF we make the grand final we will deff move up. The club wants its teams as high as possible and also as was earlier mentioned its better prep for the blokes going up to 1 reserves.

I don't think the SHOC boys will appreciate this

I bet the rest of Modbury FC wish they had nothing to do with the club. A little embarrassing.

Congratulations to Rob O'Gorman on winning the Division 7 Medal last night. First person to do so under the Mawson Lakes FC title.

For those interested he won by 8 votes to Glen Mount (TTG). Jarred Gordon (Angle Vale) surprisingly didn't pull as many votes as I and many others expected.

made the trip to the den yesteerday and saw a game dominated for three quarters by a fit, young energetic side who were prepaired to run ,back each other up and more importantly play in front.the lions came at them in the last quarter but to be honest angle vale always had the game in hand.very good young side and was very impressed and believe they have a huge future if they can keep the group together.the biggest recruit they will get next year is a new coach because i believe the current coach is not going again.i believe the club has a huge future which makes their choice next year so important for the long term future of the club.i hope they have thought this through very seriously
