Looking forward to a new season! Just a quick question about saturday whites/creams. How white/cream do they have to be? Just curious in the sense of sponsors.
cheers
This is from the ATCA By-Laws book
D13. DRESS
All players and umpires participating in matches arranged by the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association shall be properly attired.
(1) Players' shirts with collars, trousers (full length except for schoolboy players Under 15 who may wear shorts), socks, pullovers, hats and footwear shall be white, except as approved by the Board of Management for the Sunday One Day competition. (Note that footwear that is predominantly white will be deemed white for the purposes of this By-Law).
(2) Club motifs as approved by the A.T.C.A. may be worn on pullovers, helmets and white hats (Note that hats may include a protective flap at the back and sides of the hat, provided the colour is white).
(3) White long or short sleeve shirt with collar may bear the club motif on the left hand breast and an A.T.C.A. Board of Management approved advertising logo may be worn on the right breast and also on the end of one sleeve. The size of motif must not exceed the following:
(a) Club Motif which bears no advertising 10cm x 10cm.

(4) All teams competing in the ATCA competition may play in coloured uniform shirts that contain coloured segments or stripes which shall not exceed 25% of the basic white shirt. These coloured segments are restricted to the collar, shoulders sleeves and sides of the shirt and must have prior approval of the Board of Management.
As a guide the options are broken into either one of three choices, they are as follows:
1. A coloured stripe across the shoulders which shall not exceed 12 cm in width, and coloured segments on the sleeves and collar.
2. A coloured stripe down both sides of the shirt which shall not exceed 12 cm in width, and coloured segments on the sleeves and collar.
3. A coloured stripe both across the shoulders and down both sides of the shirt which shall not exceed 12 cm in width, and coloured segments or stripe on the sleeves and a edge/stitch only on the collar of no more than 2 or 3 mm in width.
Individuals wearing coloured shirts shall only do so if the complete team is so attired. Any contravention of this rule will automatically result in a fine of $50 per player not so attired.
(5) Teams playing in the Sunday One Day competiton may wear an approved coloured shirt and may also have an extra sponsorship panel on the back of uniform shirt not exceeding 30cm in width x 15cm. Sponsorship panel must be approved by the Board of Management.
(6) Helmets and caps if worn, shall be the cap of the Club for which the player is participating or the representative cap of the A.T.C.A.
(7) Umpires' shirts, pullovers, coats, hats and footwear will normally be white, and trousers black except where approved otherwise by the ATCUA.
(8) Cream clothing (shirt, pullovers, trousers and socks) shall be deemed white.
(9) Clothing shall be worn neatly (e.g. shirts tucked in, trousers not tucked into socks).
NOTE: It shall be the responsibility of Clubs to ensure that the conditions of this By-Law are strictly adhered to. Umpires, captains and Official A.T.C.A. observers shall report all breaches of this ByLaw, including the names of offending players. All breaches of this law shall incur a fine of $25 for the Club for which the player participates, unless the Board of Management waives such fine in exceptional circumstances, on request from the Club involved.
