Tiller's recent form very encouraging for WWT - very long kick as he showed with that beauty early in the last.

had a good first 10 minutes but 'hardly sighted or damaging' after that

Kane must be wondering what it's all about. In the past 2 weeks, the teams he's played for has kicked a total of 7 goals whilst the opposition has kicked 50. A fortnight to forget in a hurry.

i reckon philH's jog down to the southern goals today before the game was faster than when some bay players ran when it was their turn to take on the contest

there would be another interesting 'stat' from today if anyone has them ?

players slipping over at the contest (this is what i reckon would be or close to the mark)

Can you actually handle anything mate without simply abusing people .Of course Sturt have made bad Board decisions no one is saying they haven't but the comments were not made about Sturt or North they were made about Glenelg and your Board looks quite silly as of tonight.

All clubs have poor supporters but thank god you don't follow Sturt , you're embarassing.

yeah i can handle plenty champ, you reckon i am embarassing? you are unbelievebly ignorant

Eagles weren't that good, play like that and we would have been done by 7-10 goals by Centrals and Norwood.

Spot on.

x 2, the warm up looked good though, hey Pseud???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

No doubt they can go top and I think most people know it, I know most Norwood supporters realise the Eagles will be a real challenger.

They have hardly been convincing and look a bit foolish at this point the Board at Glenelg.

Yes foolish, like the team with this years wooden spoon. And you my friend, for you are certainly the unbackable favourite for this years Clownlow Medal.

First congratulations to the club for the activities for the kids today - including the temporary bowling alley! Hopefully all children of both sides had a good day with the give-aways and free donuts (thanks Vilis)

Kane Cornes had most touches from either team with 40.

Eagles players ran all day made better position and gave options to their mates - best players at presentations were Jarrad, Lewis, Roundtree, Powell mentions to Greiger and Cica but really could have said all played well as I dont believe we had one passenger.

Apologies to Glenelg listeners on Life FM as i really couldnt say much in the crosses I did as it seemed the eagles always had answers and were dominate although the 3rd quarter was a low scoring struggle not helped by WWT inaccurate kicking.

That stat was the marks inside 50 up to 3 quarter time.
WWT had 17 in their 50 zone while Glenelg had just 3.

Pretty impressive stat for Glenelg; that would have to be almost a 100% strike rate for marks following a forward 50 entry.

Couple more stats Pseudo.
107 points the highest margin of the year.
2.6 Bays lowest score against the Eagles, beating 4.6 v 26.11 (IIRC) form the early 2000's.

Another "stat". Crowd was listed as 2542. Didn't look like that many from the telly, although often Snouts stand to the southern side of the stands?. I've been to Woodville with far bigger crowds and you'd think it wasn't a bad crowd, up to 32-3500, but then the official crowd would be 2800.

Here's something else - Glenelgs' previous lowest score at Woodville was 4.6 (30) in Round 9 2000. Guess who made their debut for Glenelg that day?
