They've done an amazing job that's for sure. One thing it has done is taken some of the home ground advantage Pongy had away from them I reckon. Pongy sides of old were always so hard to beat there as they were so much better at playing the heavy ground.

The only problem I find as a spectator is seeing what is going on at the other end over the crest. Spoilt by the raised viewing at home I spose ;)

Nah, old Alby Rowley has.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Expensive day at Victor yesterday, got 2 season ending injuries during the game. This was after 2 players had to play a full game of B grade then A grade due to 2 people pulling out late. No excuses, just facts. The creeks looked very good though. A few different players from when Victor played them last. At this stage i'd say favourites come september.

Some ex gsfl players going well this year with the Ellis boys kicking 125 between them and dundovic on 60 but one of real note is Raymond love out at Tailem bend. Has kicked 45 in the past 6 weeks including 12 yesterday. I remember Owen being a real star but don't remember ray ever really doing much. Did he ever kick big bags at the bay?

Agree, an understrength Victor were never in the hunt against the Creeks. Creeks dominated the ruck thru Feast, Dominated the air thru Warren, Hately, James, Rogers, Feast and then had too much pace on the ground thru Tonkin, Butler, McGregor, Hill etc.
As they have shown with their thumpings of Willunga & Strath during the season, they will enter the finals as the team to beat IF they play to their full potential but as we all know, finals are a different ball game and this is where Willunga have the experience. Shaping up to be the Best finals series for many years.

Had a 6' 8" Giant or Ex-Port Ruckman in signshop past day or 2.
B.O.G.(Grand Final) Premiership player from West-Coast (Elliston).
Itching to sign @ South Coast club & has 4 boys under 7, cain't wait to see him in action for
Bays, Victor or Goolwa.
Wonder who has the right footy department (people) to sign him up! :? 6'8" blokes don't grow on tree's.
Especially ones that can play & have 4 boys for the future!
Hint - Surfer! :?

These are all just rumours but you guys can be the judge

Giles - sacked but will see out last two games
Hill - wont be at mclaren next year
Sampson - to mclaren vale next year (this one has me stumped)
Simmo - apprently not all as it seems at victor this year
Goolwa coach - gone at season end
Brand - retiring and going to junior ranks again next year

This what is being bandied around at the moment anyone know any truth in them, only one I am pretty sure on is bays and compass

Not sure what you are hinting at re Victor there bays10, but if it is about the coaching position specifically then to nip any rumours about him in the bud, I will say Simmo told the club a while back that he wouldn't be continuing as coach in 2012. It has been kept in-house till very recently but the facts have to be stated when re-signing players etc.

The club is working hard to secure the best possible coach going forward and also on re-signing players for the future and continuing to build on a strong successful club. A number of key players have already committed which is a credit to them and the committee.

Whilst injuries have hit senior ranks hard in recent weeks, we are looking forward to finals in 3 of the 4 grades. With both JC and SC winning premierships last year, to see them continuing in the 5 is great esp with the JC undefeated so far this year.

Now how about those other rumours - anyone? :)

Top 5 v bottom 5 this week. Anyone predicting any upsets?
