heard there was a pretty average preformance by a smosh player in the game on the weekend tackling a bloke then laying into him continually was sent off red card i beileve and a report then on the way off the ground grabbed a fp player and headbutted him! yet no report on the saafl website!!!

on the game itself i saw the first half and was pretty much fp just wasting alot of chances! should be good to see how the finals pan out!! hopefully Fp can get 3 in a row!! :D

Evans from smosh got 3 games with the a and b having 4 on the bench in finals that means they will loose 3 this week

yeah heard that tonight
the umpire decided just to take him on the headbutting due to it being more serious of an offence apparently when originally he was booked for both? dont see why that would be done personally think he should have to front for both.
anyway!! HERE COME THE FINALS!!!

thats pretty massive you usually don't see guys getting reported in c grade footy as they usually don't like going to the tribunal so if it was his own club umpire must of been pretty bad

Heard about this too, and was surprised as it seems out of character, he's usually a pretty calm guy.
I believe he was playing C's as he'd just returned from o/s. He was in amazing form at the start of the year in the A grade. This would be a big blow to their A's imo as he did a fair bit of damage off half back.

just watched the smash vs mitcham game, smash got up easily, especially when smash where playing a few b graders. Suppose that's the advantage you get when they finish top. I also think it's a disgrace when an old west lakes shore and st michael's school teacher is umpiring a smash game. It was pretty clear who he wanted to win, i think it was only in the final qtr that he gave mitcham a free kick. I popped in to see the score between Portland and GG, Portland up by 6 goals and looked to be getting the job done. 2 big games next week.

Interesting you say Smosh had a few b graders!! We counted atleast 5 but from what I'm lead to believe from Marshy Flinders Park did it in the
B grade yesterday dropped A graders cos they had the week off. If ya can do it yeah but both had the double chance so not sure what you achieve from it.

Well deserved win to the Portland lads today. Just capitalised on their chances more than we did but I was proud of the lads and how they fought the game out for all 4 quarters. A couple of little fires here and there but overall a game played in pretty good spirit from both sides. Goodluck to Satchel and his boys for the rest of the finals
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

yeh don't know why you would drop players back especially seeing that they have flinders park this week. If i was coaching I would of been picking players that I would be having next week. Now they have dropped 5 of there weakest players and gave them the week off, wouldn't of thought it would of done them any good seeing that they will have to play next week. Could be the undoing of making the GF.

My thoughts exactly mate. Was a great game. Was dissapointed with how the game was officiated thouhg. The bloke with the beard was fair but the one wioth the hat (supposed director of umpiring) was less than desired. Never protected the bloke over the footy for both teams. Now when one of my lads was pushed into the fence by No10 i think it was nothing was done about it and ofcourse my lads went to his defence. The ump had no control and it turned ugly. When we asked if the retaliator (my lad) and No10 he would not anmswer and yelled at me saying you hould know the rules what do you think the answer is? WTF! He then yelled he can be reoplaced now learn the rules.
Apart from that it was just teh normal dust up but nothing crazy. I did laugh when No10 & 2 tried to take on my ruck man. My ruckmen is basically 7 foot 200kgs of pure get out of my way. Funny stuff.
GG certainly dont deserve to be going back to Div 4 (well tehir C Grade anyway) best bunch of blokes ive had the pleasure of playing with/against EVER. It was great to finally meet ya Choc and have that beer. You blokes have bveen the only ones that have hung around and had beers with us. Best of luck next year boys and we'll see ya soon.

when you about 5'8 and not exactly a ball of muscle it probably is not a good idea to kick a bloke in the legs from behind when he is roughly 6'5 and 120 odd Kgs of man moutain
