I agree with you RW - I thought it was already a rule applied during the season as well as finals.

There was no nugget. I was fairly drunk but I remember Jars emphasising there was no nugget.
Perhaps he got stage fright. I don't think it sounds like Harry to get stage fright.

Damn it. The story's way better with a nugget.

i think you will find that it depends on the liquor license held by the various clubs meaning that if the oval and surrounds are covered under the license than no you are not supposed to let alcohol into the ground.that is why come finals the clubs need to get the whole oval area licensed to sell grog around the ground and can the stop patrons bringing in their own grog

it is not the RFL rule they are just policing it. It is a liquor licence requirement. you are only upset because you won't be able to buy beers from the Berri beergraders for $2.50, oh thats right you don't drink

The licensed premises of a football club extend to the boundary perimeter and the club has the power to search your car for alcohol. I think it also works the other way where alcohol purchased at the ground must be consumed at the ground and not taken outside the perimeter.
At Ceduna you cannot consume alcohol outside of the clubrooms or changerooms.
Dont know about the likes of Paringa, Moorook, Cobby and Lyrup that do not have a licensed premises at their oval. Although I imagine Paringa would have some sort of restricted license to sell from their Steak Sanger shed.
