Although it may be formula written, James Patterson's Women' Murder Club series is excellent. Currently on book nine and looking forward to Tenth Anniversary.

Bruce Guthrie's book "The Man that Bit Murdoch" compelling reading about the print media.

Two other books I have just finished reading

My Bond is my Word Roger Moore
The Life of Reilly Rick Reilly (Sports Illus Writer very funny and sad his best columns from the magazine)
Fourth Estate Jeffrey Archer (Fictional story on the print media which points arrows at some real Life Big Players)
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

After putting it aside for a bit, I finally finished Bukowski's Women.

Chinaksi mounts a woman. Gets drunk. Writes some poetry. The end.

The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde.

Read it for the first time in years after hearing First Tuesday Book Club panellists waffle on last night.

Unlike them, I wasn't a blubbering mess when I finished this short story...
