Got a soft spot for the Reds.
Love their song! and if you go back a couple of pages, that's not all I love!

And LTSO, 2 things sum up Loby; 1. Nash stark's mum, and 2. Gary 'sniper - I got my face belted off by Robbo' Schutz.

we can all learn a lot from loby....... if you can't afford to pay players in coin you can always start up a meth-lab ....

Just because Sudjai Cook looks like a meth addict doesn't mean he is one alright?
Ouch that's below the belt.....exactly the same height Sudjai is!

Nah as you say Loby aren't all bad. A few rotten kittens spoil the stew as they say. Is Shultz back for another run this year? He could do with some more work from the O'Gorman School of Dental Surgery.

You miss couple days on this thing and it takes 5 hours of reading to catch up. Good effort Guys!

ahh okies.. GTS. Its not that muffy didnt show up. we knew he couldnt play. something to do with his kids. so family comes first. but yeh all other recruits played. Wendelborn, Williams and Ex rested. Was weird game because Goolwa played with a squad of 32odd meaning it was 6 qtr game with a's only playing 3 qtrs. IB won by 5 goals or so. shouldve been lot lot more if not for some appauling umpiring. free kick count mustve been 40-10 literally. every marking contest was in the back cos he took the new AFl ruling to the extreme. thats not being incoorporated into the hills league is it????

but yeh some incredibly quick and clean movement from the rookies. it just goes to show what happens when you only look at the guernsey and not the age/face of the player b4 giving a handball and moving the ball on. I'm sure this happens at other clubs but in previous years Older players would not pass to juniors and it just makes for bad footy.

Armytank? ne opinions on the 2 trials and best players?

Well you're right there Bernie, pretty obivous yes. I'm just passing on info from people in the know. They seriously are good dudes out there though, bar Shutta i guess, on the field that is, the dude was given instrutions to drop me one game and did, guess i deserved it mind you.
I do remember one game when 'Coat'-rack lived up to his name and dropped Schutta, best 'Coat'-hanger i've ever seen! Red card...Seeya!

it's all good getting input from as many hills clubs as possible. That should equate to more truth than fiction...should

We get a bit carried away with posts. I really should do some work!!!!

We had the same issue in our 1st trial game last week with the umpires going banas on the in the back rule. My understanding is that this rule will be implemented in the HFL along with the no delay kick in rule. The problem with the kick ins rule is that you have to use the match ball, you can't grab the spare. This begs the question WTF is the point of having a spare?

Mop Up - yeah I agree with the 6 qtr thing, it was a bit weird but a trial none the less. A bit hard to pick out any best players from trials because players are all over the place in different posssies and on and off the bench. Harey put in a big effort to play full 6 qtrs, and constantly contributed. Perhaps a new find for a ruckman as well? And you yourself have been picking up quality touches amongst the bigger names Mop Up

There are some good blokes at Loby. Seriously though, Schutz is a seed. Nobody deserves to be belted behind the play - not even a Shanty!

That red-card incident was classic. I played B's that game and Coat Rack (in the A's) was in having a shower and was up on the balcony with a white poweraid before any of the b graders!

I believe they are bringing in this new law, and apparently they're bringing back the rule where ruckman must start from inside the circle when the ball is tossed up in the centre. Clearly these rules are ridiculous, esspecially at an amateur level. You're not going to have players disciplined enough to not touch someone in the back in a contest when they've been doing it there whole life. I wish uncle owen would make a stand here...but he won't. These rules are a joke!

That rucking rule is ridiculous also, how are skinny pieces of sh*t like yours truly supposed to contest against someone like a julian Snowden(now retired but prime example). A dude that's about 90 but getting a game purely b/c he's 6ft 15 and can stand there and fend off smaller opponents. Atleast give us a run at the big old b@stards. And whats more, they brought the rule in because people were doing there knees, when's the last time someone popped there knee from a ruck contest at an amateur level???

Ms. Starks is more feral than a wild pig out the back of Burke. I have heard (and seen) she is not a nice lady!

Nash Starks mum is a nut job.

One of my funniest memories of watching footy at Heathfield was when we were terrible and Loby were pumping us in the last quarter. Big Cerns was getting loose on the UDL's and Pahly was being Pahly. Nash Starks mum piped up over something and it was on like serena williams (that one's for you Tenchy!).

After Cerns told her to go back to Loby and lick some carpet, it all ended with Pahly going down there and having a civil (they were about to rip each others head off) conversation. I don't know all of what was said, but there were a LOT of expletives used. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but at the end of the day, Stark's mum is a dong beater.

Apparently she was involved in the Country GF fight last year.

Mrs Stark and Schutz would be a great match. There would be some angry shagging!

She would have to be a crack baby!

Armytank.... completely agree with ya on the ruckman. very impressive. kid can jump. will be interesting to see how he goes against the bigger units but still promising for an 18 yr old. As for the quality touches it helps when your playing with guns who go in and get it with hard work while you sit out of the packs

Will you be joining us in Renmark for a huge drinking binge satdy nite?? I'm sure we can arrange the pure blondes to be on sale. :D
