If Tailem finish up in the finals and play the footy they played in the last quarter they may upset a few teams but anything less than the last quarter performance and i cant see them being to much of a threat to any of the top three teams.

It was 2 goal at half time, Tailem were up by 2 goals going into the last quarter, check the sporting pulse page, our second half was quite dominant converting well on the scoreboard. It was a very pleasing effort to see where the Tailem Bend group is at and they responded well. Now we play the waiting game.

Hopefully we get a few players back this week, but we will be doing everything possible to beat jervois, be a great send off for BOMBER in his last game as coach, he puts his heart and sole into our club and hopefully the boys can get up for him this week.

Do it grasshopper, Bomber is a top bloke, and I think the Bears need to remind people just how good a football team they can be, switch on, get on the same page and play a ripper to send Bomber off!!! GO YOU BEARS!!!

Jervois you would think will secure there spot in the finals against a undermanned meninge at the moment

We have potentially lost a key player to a knee injury but more will be found out when he gets a MRI done

Who's injured?

Fire em up, the Bears have got too many good footballers to go out on a sour note, fire up boys, then get DJ Gambo CRANKIN!!! First request "Horses" by D. Braithwaite - 3 votes

Just on Meningie, now that its been confirmed Jamie Gibbs won't go on as coach next year, it will be interesting to see who gets the role next year. Will they go for a local, or perhaps try and get a big name, even a player/coach, perhaps..

I think it needs to be someone that can develop and refocus the current group, as we've seen their best can beat Imps at home which is no easy task. The difficult thing with Meningie is that the season is long and when the winter sets in at Meningie it really sets in; so I think to be successful at Meningie the coach needs to be innovative with their training program to keep everyone keen and fresh. With Gibbs, Cuneen, Austin, Benbow, Brunoli, Thorpe, Ferenci they have some real class players and the rest of their list is handy too, they're around the mark; just need to refocus and I think the sooner they do it the better as they might be able to retain their current list, add a couple, refresh a couple like Orr and Rocket and they'll be definite finalists next year.

heard that chris halls injury not as bad as first thought and will probably only miss two weeks. i would imagine the roos will be missing a few guys this week against ramblers to get everyone right for finals. kennedy is not expected to play this week either
