Why did you drive on even one bald tyre? Are you suicidal? Was the steering wheel of legal design? [Not everything on sale is road legal.]

As i said it was only just bald enough to be defected,......

Thats like saying "I was only just pissed enough to be over the limit"...give me a break. It's not the cops fault mate.

actually no, i think its quite diffrent.
Maybe if they had a genuine reason to pull me over it wouldn’t be to bad, but they just blatantly harass any P-Platers they can.
I’ve had mates pulled over for no reason, and cops get so frustrated that they cant defect their car, that they call for back-up to see if they can, its really quite ridiculous.
I know people that are so sick of it, they just dont display their P-plates, its a big risk, but they never get pulled over anymore.
You try driving on P-plates these days and see if you have the same attitude towards cops.

You're a bit of a worry MW. From what Samuel has posted I reckon he might have a point. The problem with miserable bastards is that they aren't happy until everyone else is as miserable as they are. There's a fair difference between a tyre with a bald spot and someone who has been drink driving I would have thought.

Yes, cops do often target P platers.

Problem is - there's a lot of dickhead P platers out there that spoil it for the nice ones. And Sam ;)

My road, which was a dead end until about 6 months ago how extends for af ew hundred metres, with no houses.

EVERY night, there's P platers out there going up and down at over 100 clicks, burnouts, etc.
Sure, cops target P platers but there's a lot of P platers who make it easy to hate them :)

(and yes, I got targeted a few times for many things)

or has to tell sone 18 y o P platers Mum and Dad that young Johnny has killed himself due to speed and driving a suped up Corolla, Cortina etc (i.e what car does you husband drive) or even worse has been killed due to a P plate driver driving a suped........

Most cops I know tell me if they pulled over everyone doing 5 kms over limit they'd be doing it all day so normally it is just point finger and glare, ......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
