Over the last (I'm not sure how long, possibly his career) period, Cook has scored more runs, and faced more deliveries, than any other Test Cricketer.

Add that he's soon going to nudge his average over the fifty-mark (maybe this game at the current rate), he has got a lot going for him.

25 or 26 (that can double for both age and hundreds ;) ), plenty of domination left...

But hang on, he's just a hack... ;)

No one has said he's a hack, people have just questioned whether he's real A grader against quality bowling.

Sachin Tendulkar
Would be best advised to tell his captain he does not want to bowl in Test matches anymore
His bowling average is almost his batting average these days

INDIA 224
COOK 0/266

Cook leads by 42 runs
Will the Indian batsman make enough runs in their 2nd dig and set Cook a challenging last innings chase ?

Anderson to Dravid, OUT, 135.2 kph, Anderson is near unplayable this morning! Again this angles in towards off, then leaves Dravid after having made him play at it. The edge is taken, and England are ever so closer to the No. 1 ranking. These outswingers bowled from wide of the crease at Anderson's pace are always going to trouble the batsmen no matter how good they are

Anderson to Laxman, OUT, 132.7 kph, Anderson gets four out of four! A perfect ten anybody, to make this test even more special for England? Another lovely outswinger, just short of driving length, just outside off, Laxman leaves the bat to dry, the ball moves away, takes the edge. Prior does the rest

Swann to Raina, OUT, 86.0 kph, there's the arm ball, and he is given! Raina tried to review it, but he should remember it was India who insisted against the reviews even on inside edges on lbws. Anyway, this was pad first. Swann bowls the slider, Raina plays for the offbreak, the bal goes with the angle, beats the inside edge, hits him in front of middle. Steve Davis doesn't hesitate. Anderson won't get 10

32.2
Swann to Dhoni, OUT, 88.0 kph, What a way to go! Tendulkar is run out backing up! Dhoni hits this firmly and cruelly straight, Swann gets a finger on it, Tendulkar tries to make it back, but the stumps are hit before he can slide his bat back in. A standing ovation for a forlorn Tendulkar. Will he come to Edgbaston again?
