and the other Hinge? ;)

they are big boys, they can take it.

i am kinda shocked to hear that mcintyre is struggling, he seems to have all the characteristics of a solid FP player...what are his downfalls cutterman? I have only seen him play a few times live and on TV but wouldnt mind hearing from someone who sees him a bit more.

Jimmy, I just had a quick look at the stats, over 9 games he's kicked 8.18. He's played a fwd role for most of each of those 9 games, obviously not an acceptable return from a forward. As mentioned he does seem to miss important goals. He also goes missing for large parts of games and to me he seems to lack effort, provides no real fwd pressure or second efforts. Apart from last years ANZAC game I really haven't seen him do much.

I really don't like to do that on a forum, I was a crap footballer as a kid. I tried to give an honest appraisal of McIntyre without being unfair, I've just got no idea how he keeps getting a game. I'd be very happy for him to have a blinder and prove me wrong.

You weren't being unfair. Why do people on some forums think posting honest observations are unfair or attacks on clubs or players ?

I think your thoughts are fair Cutterman and accurate.

get a life you two i was just having a bit of fun ;)

to be serious for a minute who do you think would be able to replace him if he did get dropped ? because it is easy to say drop this player or that player but they have to be replaced & the question is can the replacement make a bigger difference to the team ?......i think i read he's kick 8.18 would you still want him demoted if he'd kicked 20.6 ?

Admittadly Bayman I haven't got to as many games this year as previous years so maybe in some of those he has shown something but not from what I've seen. 20.6 yes I'd take that and probably give him a bit of slack but he has to work harder IMO.

As far as other players, Sam Miles has been given a go up forward of late while not being outstanding I think he's done pretty well, he seems to be a bit more of an attacking player when trying to get the ball. Apart from that I'd give some of our younger guys a crack.

We have raided our reserves side so we'd be struggling to find many more league ready players.

Have not seen the reserves reams but I think all four of the Glenelg outs are injuries. Hender possibly through a school footy game mid week?
