Saw something like this on the BL&G site and thought I'd have a crack.

RFL
Premiership - Loxton North
Runner Up - Waikerie
Whillas Medal - Michael Arnold (LN)
Best 1st year player - Mason Middleton (BM)
Coach of the Year - Craig Wooldridge (LN)

INDY
Premiership - Paringa ;) (I hope so anyway!)
Runner-up - Lyrup
Duthie Medal - Max Baddack (R)
Best 1st year player - Jed Martinson (BSR)
Coach of the year - Peter Zadow (BSR) or Arrod Westley (P)

Thoughts?

Lots of anger. Lots of allegations.
Lots of discussions but the umpire's have voted to play on this week.
There's some sort of hearing next week, I understand.
A sad situation.

Speculation on identities does no one any favours, so I won't buy into that.
Suffice to say that given all of the publicity this issue has attracted in recent weeks, it seems silly that it has come to this point.

Does anyone know how bad the abuse towards the umpire(s) was at the Renmark game and if it's of real concern or being blown out of proportion due to being topical at the moment?

If what was said was true, I think it's totally disrespectful to the umpires, the RFL and the game in general, particularly after what has been discussed in recent weeks.
I really don't get why people call umpires cheats.

I hope that there's a hell of alot more to it than the umps being called cheats
If that's the case they should have some really big glasses of HTFU!
No-one should be threatened by physical violence etc but when signing up to become an umpire I think they should have a good understanding of the "sticks and stones" concept.
