Probably the best Imperials side put on the park for a while. Harrowfield and Tyler could still come in. Playing three really good kids. Seyers will stand Girardi. First time he has stood a quality defender for a long while. I know Imps were poor last week but they are a real chance of rolling the chooks tomorrow.

tyler would of played if it was a final or needed to win to secure a spot but i think chose to give it another week. And i believe harrowfield put his hand up and said i'll play but the coach wanted to rest him and give it another week. Seyers to get the better of geradis and keep him to a couple. Will do the same job he did on wark a couple weeks ago and i think kept him goaless and very quiet. Imps a real chance if they all turn up to play after a really bad game last week.

cant remember seeing any excusses or people making them goldberg simply when imps have lost they have been very poor and the opposition have been good. And they havn't deserved to win i would think.

If I were Ramblers I'd point out very early how much holding Sayers does and hope the umpires have some balls to call free kicks early in the game, it was an absolute joke that Wark didn't get one free kick against Sayers, absolute joke!!!

So Ramblers in a thriller at Johnston park. Great game to watch except a few poor umpiring decisions but it was a real hard fought game with both teams giving it there all and both teams near full strength.

Jervois got up which almost guarantees that 5th spot is theres with Tailem needing to win against the tigers this weekend and hope meninge knock of jervois in the last round

Mannum's huge win could prove that they have got rid of the cancer that was causing what is probably the best team on paper to under achieve. Now a major threat come finals if they stay fit.
Can anyone shed anymore light on any other players that have (or havent) left the Roos?

Very close game between Ramblers and Imps, who were the better players?

As a previous poster reported here, the only casualty is Waterhouse which was confirmed by my old man at the game today. Two of the other players also reported to have left (one by me  ) kicked 8 and 10 goals each being, Hall and Gerardis. Wakefield and Mueller both also played.

Sensational game at Johnstone Park. Ramblers by two points. Trewen had two great chances late in the game to win it. Some Imps supporters were not happy with a holding the ball in the dying seconds against Wait but in fairness we had our chances to win it. Thompson very good for the chooks and Trewen almost single handedly won the games for the Blues with 7 goals. Shaping as a cracker finals series.

Dont you mean "in fairness, we got handed way more free kicks than them"? Was funny watching the imps supporters turn so hard after they had a ride from the umps for most of the game.

Mannum where with out Kennedy as he was injured, Meningie without benbow, rocket cunneen and ettridge, also after quarter must be mentioned Meningie played the game out with 16 players on the field, I will add mannum looked rejuvenated and seemed a very close bunch of blokes, I tip they will go deep into the finals series, especially if Kennedy is back in the near future

Should be a ripping game this weekend between Imps and Mannum. Any injuries to report from the Imps camp? Will Kennedy play?

Not too sure but i think imps dont have any injuries out of the game and also Harrowfield and Tyler will both be likely to start this week against the roos.
