7 tips right this week, The Willies are desperately fighting back and had a good win over Crammit that I was not expecting. Rumcoks with the highest score of the round rebounded as expected and wonder why they couldn’t bring that form into the games in the last two weeks. The one to worry about is Blue Boy who finally is starting to put up scores that could make an impact on sides trying to make the 8.

Hogg Division 2 Predictions

Three rounds to go and the fight is on for top 4, Final 8 and to avoid relegation.
To be sure of a spot in the top 8 I reckon a team will need 9 wins but I believe two teams will finish on 8 wins and one unlucky team will be pushed out on percentage (sharks).
The Pigs have the toughest run home and if they win one of the last three should squeeze into eighth spot, but they have the firepower to win all three. Deckens have one easy game but again if they cannot win the other two will also finish on 8 wins in seventh spot.

My tips for the remainder of the 8 are:

1 Lions
2 Rumcoks
3 Bulldogs
4 Lickers
5 Bloods
6 Rioli

My calculations for the relegated 4 are Blue Boy, Heros, Onewin Wonders who I think can only win one more game and The Willies who I think have just left there run too late.
The Uncles, Fingers and Crammit should be using all their trades now to try to win the three remaining matches to make the final 8.

7 out of 8 tips correct this week with Rumcoks indeed proving what their coach says as being inconsistent were beaten by Salad Fingers in a match they should have won. Rumcoks have two hard games to go and could drop out of the four if they loose both. The match of the round was as predicted between the Lickers and Deckens Cider the lead changed with every game over the weekend and finally the Cider toasting success late on Sunday.
This has left the table finely balanced with spots 4 to 8 all on 8 wins with 2 rounds to play.

Round 18 selections:

2 games to go and I think the top 8 is sewn up although a spot in the top 4 is up for grabs and the double chance. The Sharks although may get the 8 wins required but will not have the percentage to crack the 8

Crammit Inner in a very tight game with Rioli this week the captain selection could be the difference but I think Rioli will win with the return of Mitchell.
The Bloods who are in very good form should account for Salad Fingers.
Rumcoks who are having an atrocious run take on the Willies who based on last week have the advantage, but I am leaning to Rumcoks to return to form and pick up the points.
Destiny uncles take on the rampaging Dogs who are really warming up for the finals and should win this easily.
Blue Boy returned to their worst last week and will be chewed up by the Sharks
Deckens Cider in their good win last week now have the bye and will easily account for the Heros.
Onewinwonders have the players to trouble top teams but do not seem to have the consistency and team work required to win enough games and should go down to the Lickers
The Pigs are another fast finishing team and have the tough run home but have had a good wining streak of late. This confidence should help them but the Lions are about to hit their straps and should pounce on a win.

Only 4 out of 8 tips right this week with The Willies and One Win Wonders although out of finals contention affecting the make up of the eight with good wins over more fancied opponents. Salad Fingers and the Sharks have critical wins that could see one or both of them get into the eight in the last game. The Bloods and the Lickers now have a power of work to do to remain in the eight.
The Pigs mauled the Lions with a round high score of 2519 and look hungry at the business end of the season. The Dogs are cruising along one in and one back and have secured second spot at least with a chance at equal top after the bye, although their percentage will let them down.
