Was that up the southern end? It grazed the post as it passed. Only grazed it, mind you it should've been enough for Raboyle and his mates behind the goals to have seen it, which judging by their reactions, they didn't lol

Yep, a big test to hold onto that double chance, that they can't miss out on.

The way We are currently playing, We could very easily lose the last 4 & that's not exactly the sort of form you would want to go in to a finals series with.

I wouldn't mind clearing this one up as there was plenty of agro behind the southern goals when this happened. The general feeling behind the goals was that the goal umpire thought it had gone through for a point...when everyone, including me, though it had atleast gone through between the big sticks. Correct me if i'm wrong but the goal umpire never signalled it had hit the post...he consulted with the field umpire before giving a point...

Also, I know it's trivial but that OOBOTF paid against Sturt 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter was in by half a metre. I was walking around the fence in the outer and was in a reasonable position to see it...

Apostle, you are correct - it wasn't signalled as having hit the post, but despite sitting a fair distance away, I saw it deviate from there.

Definately paid a point and he did not indicate it hit the post , even though it did . I thought there were some strange decisions , I think McLeay took a mark deep in defence and was given 25 but the Central player did not move and was not remonstrating with the umpire for it to be about abuse.

CK - Can you talk any faster?

From Adelaide Now:

"But we won the stoppages and we won the contested ball which is good to beat Central in that area."

Yes we did but you need to be able to execute once you get it. Is there not anythhing else to footy but being competitive and first to it? It is just the same message each week we get.

Laird comes out and says "we over used the ball and that ruins our forward structure and our skills were not great "

Bit of a difference.
