Dont be harsh guys, I can see why Sam saw it twice looking at this review:

If I could have given this a score lower than a 1 I would have but unfortunately, thats not possible. The only reason I went to see this was because it was a first date movie and being the gentleman I am I let my date pick what to see. A lot of people who know me would say I'm just being biased since I absolutely despise hip-hop, rap, or whatever its called but this movie (and I use that term lightly) was utter crap. Horrible plot, horrible acting, and a horrible cast. I actually feel like I have lost a few I.Q. points from watching this disaster of a film. Whoever wrote, directed, and casted this film must really feel embarrassed right now, hopefully as embarrassed as I felt for them while I was watching it. And if anyone cares my date (who likes 50 cent) hated it as much as me.

That's harsh, you could miss out on something enjoyable that would make it very worthwhile having to sit through a horrible movie :wink:

Sam, you need help son. I can steer you in the right direction towards quality hip-hop. But first, you have to admit you have a problem. :wink:

The only reason I can think of as to why Jim Sheridan - Oscar nominated writer/director of My Left Foot, In the Name of the Father, The Boxer, In America - would even think of making a film about Fiddy...

Is to notch up a commercial hit.

Because he's had a heap of critical acclaim bestowed on him but never a box-office hit.

You need a good dose of punk!

PR, there are so many similarities between punk and hip-hop it's not funny.

Probably too many for your liking.

its really got nothing to do with 50 cent or his music, the movie is based on Curtis Jacksons life before he becomes a rapper, the movie ends with him doing the 1st song of his first show.
i went twice becouse some friends could only go in the morning and some at night, the 2 girls i went with in the morning dont like 50 cent or rap for that matter but loved the movie.

certainly dont need any punk, i cant think of anything worse. :shock:

Latest review I read was that it made "Can't Stop the Music" with the Village people in it look like an Acadamy Award winner!!!
One quote was a classic saying the biker had more talent in right boot than 50 cent has in his whole body!
