I know the "Junktion" you speak of :) It's kind of smelly and greasy...

...but a dirty alleyway up north with a plethora of "junkies" hanging out is always more daunting ;)

What are you on about? Is this some sort of duldig reference? Way too clever, for me.

Sturt had their chances... they missed 2 vital goals in the last.

having said that centrals just have this knack of keeping in front and when they get challenged and they just turn in on for 5 or so minutes and make it look easy

gowans knee in the back was unnecessary and im not sure how at least a free wasnt awarded.

he is STILL a great player and lethal with both feet

Havelberg 6.1 from 7 kicks not a bad effort.

Just watching the replay and if you freeze the game at 4:37 into the last quarter you will see something very interesting and possibly controversial.

Yeah, the Craig Evans attempt at Sturt's 10th goal. Had a frame-step look at this - interesting, but not controversial IMO.

The immediate part of the goal line was obscured (with an acute camera angle) by the ball as it bounced almost parallel to it, then travelled away from the goal line. In any case, the goal umpire can only award a goal if they're certain the whole ball has cleared the line.

Yep. Very glad this bloke stayed at the CDFC.

Side note: Though not an emergency, a special mention from the StrayDog kennel for the St John staff in the south eastern pocket for their prompt, friendly and professional help for our little girl yesterday.

On my screen there is about ten cm of space between the ball and the line and I am convinced the ball landed over the line. Would have made the margin five points with Sturt kicking two goals in five minutes and on the charge.

What happened with jack hannaths point (goal)? I didn't see any umpire signal touched, or that it touched the post.

Dogs just did what they had to do to record a fairly comfortable win in the end. Got close briefly, but no sooner did Sturt get within a kick did we kick away again. Spurr was fantastic (19 marks!), Sansbury and Jenner clean as a whistle as usual. Hannath did well deputising for Sutherland in lead ruck, just about cemented his spot I'd say. Habel's best game too. Good to just see Thomas, Boyd and Hayes get some ball in hand and a run. The side looks so much better with those guys back.

Thought for someone of his class that Martin was very ordinary today. More turnovers than a bakery.

Unfortunately, Havelberg has done a hammy.

Yes, Junk food alley, another boring stereotype. Unfortunately for Us, We can't afford to personally deliver to your lap a superb 3 course meal, consisting of steamed mussels in garlic & white wine, medium/rare Angas Eye Fillet, finished off with home-made sticky date pudding, like they do at Dungley Oval. *edit* was going to call you a name but Diss says no ;)

Also, We won but it was an ugly win. We have a long way to go still if We expect to defend Our title. Hayes was excellent, runs like he's doing the chook step, Spurr is as smooth as a wave in a bucket of poo, He surely will be drafted, Sansbury just does what He likes, Our B&F by a mile! BUT We are not playing well, have struggled to win in the last month & a half. I can see a big loss coming up at Woodville.

Yeah, kicked 5.0 from 5 kicks against North at Prospect as well.

Havelberg is now sitting just 1 goal behind Ken Farmer Medal leader M.Wundke (51.30) with 50.17, he is very economical is the big Berger.

Yep, a big test to hold onto that double chance, that they can't miss out on.
