Yes a couple players spoke to me, not in person but online, an issue was raised, discussed for an hour or so and hasnt been an issue since.

Yes the club is still a family orientated club.

Yes the club may be changing its culture a little, Nothing wrong with a strong desire to get into DIV 1. In saying that we are still looking after ALL players at the club, from A GRADE all the way down to the Juniors so nothing has changed there.

YES the Craigmore Cricket Club is still THE PLACE TO BE!

Who is coaching?

Not going to go to that extent mate was just wondering if I knew who it was. U wouldn't want me, has been.

All good from the reoprts I'm hearing, no big signings but plenty of talented youth along with a few prospective A grader's, we'll see how we go and not get ahead of ourselves.

Wasn't it OTH linked to a mass exodus of players? Perhaps it wiser you worry about how things are travelling up the hill 1st mate ;)

How will you fit in with a new coach F2F? Will it be checkmate?
I hear he wont be playing but will visit all grades on a Saturday.
I hear there maybe some players undecided about playing at OTH this season and a few that have played in the past undecided about rejoining OTH.
OKC is doing his best to recruit a few of your players I believe.

Serious question, with Craigmore being a considerably 'old' a grade side based on last year will they be easy to coach and will all players be willing to be taught new things especially the older brigade.

Not stirring things up, serious question from an outside point of view.

Speaking from my experience at the club the answer would be yes. These 'old' players you would be talking about are always open to new ideas and have always looked to improve.

Why would it be a problem with the senior players?

I dont see why the older brigade would have a problem with having a coach, I know when I coached there a few seasons back I had absolutely no problems with the older A grade players but I did have a few problems with some other players in lower grades. Sometimes lower grade players are lower grade players for a reason!

Just to clear it up, I'm not trying to recruit only OTH players. All are welcome at Gepps, and just so happens that everyone that i have spoken to seems to be from there.

So to the OTH boys, sorry its nothing personal!

The old "can't teach an old dog new tricks" argument.
Valid question, but like anything, only a fool would think that you can keep doing the same things year in and year out and expect a different outcome.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!
