I think it's good that news like thisis still worthy and relevant in our afl centric world and that it can attract attention.

I believe the North Adelaide Football Club will be sending out a press release that Josh Francou will be coaching the 2nd year of his contract. South will follow suit to inform Ron Fuller will honor his 3rd year of his 5 year contract. Fantastic.

That you thought this was worth posting beggars belief.

As the info is from our Club website one would assume their intention was to inform the club supporters and if you look again at the first post of this thread it was start by a Doggie NOT a Norwood supporter. If you don't like it then you don't have to read it or you can always complain to him for starting the thread.

Just don't think a coach fulfilling his contract is worth a media release. I'm sure if it was about South announcing Ron Fuller was staying until the end of his contract, Norwood fans would be

One subtle fact applies here TSG. Bassett has a get out clause in his contract which he could have elected to exercise to take up an AFL coaching opportunity. In essence, the press release is confirming that he is honoring his 3rd year. I would have thought that in the circumstances it was reasonable for all stakeholders to be Advised of this fact, including club staff, members, supporters and the media who Has been dining out on speculation.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.
